09:30Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
Ninety minutes. Eighty-two domes, a courtyard of inlaid marble flowers, and the largest hand-knotted carpet in the world. Entry is free — it has never cost anything — and we register your visitor pass in advance so you walk straight in. Dress code is enforced at the gate; see below.
11:15Qasr Al Watan
The working presidential palace, from the approach. Going inside? Tell us at booking and we add the ticket at cost.
12:00Lunch, properly
An hour, sitting down. Ten hours is too long to run on snacks, so we build a real stop into the middle of the day. Your guide gives you the options — Emirati, Lebanese, Indian or something familiar — and the choice is yours. Food at your own cost; the pace is never rushed.
13:15Emirates Palace and Etihad Towers
Thirty minutes on the forecourt of the hotel that gave the city its skyline, and the towers opposite.
14:00The Corniche and Heritage Village
An hour. The breakwater village is a reconstructed pearling-era settlement, free to enter — and the reason to walk out there is the view back at the skyline across the water.
15:15Louvre Abu Dhabi, Saadiyat Island
The dome from outside, free to stand under. Inside is an add-on, and it is closed on Mondays — we will tell you when you book.
16:00The road back to Dubai
Ninety minutes. Most guests sleep.

Wherever we collected you. These times are a plan, not a promise: the E11 decides the last hour, and if the road is slow your guide will say so in the car rather than quietly drop a stop. Want the order changed — the palace first, the Louvre skipped, longer on the Corniche? Say so when you book, or say so at 11am. It is your car.

Questions people actually ask
Is this really private?
Yes. The vehicle and the guide are yours alone. We do not sell seats on this tour at any price.
Is the Grand Mosque really free?
Yes. Entry has never cost anything, and we do not add a fee to something that is free. We register your visitor pass in advance so you are not queuing.
What exactly is the dress code?
Everyone: ankles and shoulders covered, nothing tight or sheer. Women: a headscarf, hair covered. Men: long trousers and sleeves. The mosque lends abayas and scarves free to anyone turned away, but the queue is long and it will cost you half your visit. Dress for it before you leave Dubai and you walk straight in.
Can we add Qasr Al Watan or the Louvre?
Yes — we sell both tickets separately, at exactly what they cost, with no fee added. Tell us when you book and your guide walks you in. We keep them off this page because the palace charges more at peak hours and the Louvre closes on Mondays, and we would rather quote you the real price for the day you are actually coming.
How much of the day is driving?
About three hours of a ten-hour day. We say so plainly because it is the thing people wish they had known.
Is lunch included?
The stop is. The food is yours — an hour, sitting down, with your guide offering the options. We do not take a commission from any restaurant, which is why we suggest rather than decide.
Can we do this on a Friday?
You can, and we will get you in before noon — but the mosque closes to visitors from noon to 3pm for Friday prayers, the day feels rushed, and we would rather you came another day. If Friday is your only day, we will tell you exactly what changes before you pay.
What about Mondays?
Louvre Abu Dhabi is closed. Everything else runs, and the dome is still worth standing under. But if the Louvre is why you are going, do not come on a Monday.
What about Ramadan?
Mosque timings and visitor slots change during Ramadan, and the change is not the same every year. Tell us your date and we will confirm exactly what is different before you book — we will not guess at it here.
Is there a shorter version?
No. Abu Dhabi is 140 km away; a half day would be four hours of driving for two hours of city, and we will not sell that.
We have a long layover — can we do this one?
No, and we will not take the booking. This is a ten-hour day with a hundred and forty kilometres of motorway at each end, in a different emirate. There is no version of it that we would put between two flights. Take the Dubai city tour instead — the half day fits a long connection properly.
What if our flight is late, or plans change?
Tell us and we move the start — no charge on the same day. Cancel up to 24 hours before pickup for a full refund, no questions asked.
Who actually runs this tour?
Your booking and your itinerary are ours. The tour is delivered by our hand-picked, licensed local team working to our standards — and you have your guide's name, photo and mobile number the evening before. Nobody re-sells your booking and nobody adds a margin on top of ours.
